sorry that I haven't been around.  In fact, I am techinally not *around* right now.  I am at my mom's house.  The computer room (ie basement) is in shambles!! If someone didn't know where something went, it went down there.  To the finished side no less....ACK! So my unfinished part of the basement is fine and dandy to walk around but on the side where i want to set up my craft area and the computer....well, er.....see ya soon I hope...LOL!

Hopefully I will get to knitting group next week as this past week I just needed to get stuff done around the house.

Thanks for all the prayers, I know God had a hand in the house as the woman got here 2 min before the deadline on Friday to get the title in.  After many hurdles during the day where I freaked out twice!!!

Please pray for my SIL.  She is nearing the end of her pregnancy.  The doctor said she could go at any day.  She is contracting here and there, but with this being her 1st full term baby (they lost an angel 2 years ago in the 2nd trimester) she is very unsure of everything.  I try to help out and answer her questions, but every pregnancy is different.  I learned that with my 3.  Hopefully baby Angelous cooks until he is done and doesn't give his mom a lot of problems.  He is my first blood nephew (as my other nephews are from my step sister and step brother)  I am very excited!

Yea!!!! We signed the papers for the house yesterday. Title is supposed to transfer today and we get the keys this afternoon! I am sooo excited! We move tomorrow and tonight we are going over there to clean and vacuum.  i am off to pack. I may be away for a few days but I will update when we get settled!

Well I was very calm by the time the mortgage lady called me back.  Thank goodness.  I don't know how well she would have handled me breaking down on the phone.  (altho I am sure I wouldn't be the first person to do so to her)  Dh and I will call the agency back later and not tell them we are buying a house, I guess they get really upset and try to stick it to you when you tell them that.  We just want to pay our bill off.  Hopefully the amount they quote us won't be so gosh darn high and we will get it all squared away with a nicer person there.  Thanks for the prayers, I know they worked as I am much calmer now.  Altho I am sure I gained back some weight as I was busy shoving food into my face after I was so upset.  Mainly a chocolate cow that Amy sent the girls.  There is still some left(and we did let them have some not too long ago) so I didn't gorge myself completely.  I will update you again soon! We are set to tenatively close tomorrow at the title company at 1pm.

Ugh, the house is so close to closing and I had to deal with a meanie on the phone.  I had to call a collection agency and get a payoff amount.  I know, I know if I had paid my bills this wouldn't be a problem.  And it is only one bill that is about 5 years old that got sold and the company it got sold to is trying to make a heap of money off of it.  They have lied to us on the phone the only time they called.  They say they have been trying to contact us for 5 years, but that is a lie.  We have had the same number and we have not recieved any letters.  The woman told me I was a degenerate and I don't deserve a house because I don't pay my bills.  She also said if it was the last thing she did she was going to make (insert obsene words here) sure that we never got a house.  I was beside myself crying and all worked up.  I couldn't get a hold of the closing lady at the mortgage company....she is on lunch I think.  And my poor dh had to listen to me ball in his ear.  He calmed me down and we talked and he told me that he was confident if we called back we would get someone else.  I am not calling back until he gets home! Hopefully the mortgage lady will call back soon and we can rationally discuss what to do.  I am sure I will get all hysterical again, as I am tearing up just thinking about our potential conversation.  Please pray for me.  And for Ms. Meanie....I know I have been praying for her.  It is the only way not to think really ugly thoughts of her right now.  I will update later. 

Just terribly busy with the house.  We close and the title transfers this Friday.  I will try to update this week, if I can weave my self in and out of the fort of boxes! Hugs!!

Well this is just a quickie, I will post more tomorrow.  But I have to say I was knitting at my 10 year reunion and so my hubby grabbed the camera and said I am taking a photo of this so you can put it on your blog! ROFL!

I don't know if my heart is in this post.....as I knew this morning what I wanted to blog and now I am here and I don't have a clue.  I should just come back later when I have something to say. 

I will say that I finished my bible reading and all I have to do is load the dishwasher and I can knit until the last load comes out of the dryer.  So why, oh why, am I down here?  Well just as Allena (I think) said in my comments, just like knitting...blogging and reading blogs is addicting.  I tend to agree!  But when I do go up and knit I get to knit on my double wide branching out.  It is looking fabtabulous if I do say so myself.  And it matches the dress I want to wear to the reunion nicely.  Dh likes it and that is always a plus.  I am excited that he loves to watch me knit.  He finds it fascinating how quickly I can whip something out of nothing.  He loves the way it makes me so happy and he loves that it keeps me content.  He has even said that someday he will let me teach him how to knit.  I am excited but not at all holding my breath....LOL! 

Last night was Open House at the Chicken's school.  It was very nice.  The girls were very excited to take us around and they saw some friends.  I am amazed at how quickly these chickens fit in.  The Big Chicken's teacher was amazed at how many people wanted to sit by her, as most kids tend to stick to their friends.  She said the Big Chicken has hit is off with a lot of kids in her class and she is just an awesome kid and is so happy to have her in class.  Little Chicken's teacher (who was indeed my kindy teacher) said that she is also adjusting well, altho she is having a bit of a problem remembering to raise her hand before she speaks and speaking in turn (The little chicken...not the teacher)  I am very excited for my chickens and I pray they have a wonderful year.

Tonight we are going to the High School Football Opener, I am excited. We will see some people from my graduating class and get to see the marching band.  I LOVE the marching band.  I regret not joining marching band because I was mad at the director.  (I played trombone all the way thru school)  But the Big Chicken has asked if she can play my trombone...I am beyond excited.  And now I get to live vicariously thru my chicken...awesome!

Why am I on the computer when I haven't finished reading the Old Testament stuff I wanted to read this morning.  Oh...I know why, I came down to page dh on his pager about the news from the FHA appraisal.  Things went well with that.  After things going terribly wrong last night at the house.  It was totally crazy and dh didn't get the GFI's in because of wiring issues with the house.  We did get the banisters up and redid a couple of outlets.  We were there until after 10 last night...eeek! (which is why I missed Knitty at Bella Dubby :( )  The realtor took the girls to get McD's after 9 as the kids were starving....it was nice she came back with tons of food.  I didn't realize how hungry I was until I started chowing down! 

I did cast on for Branching out, but I had to rip and redo.  I will be working on that this afternoon after I get my house stuff done.  Hopefully it goes quickly. I will not work on the baby blanket for a bit, as I am getting sick of it.  I will finish branching out and then get back to blanket business.

The chickens first day of school went well.  They were very happy and both said they made some friends.  I think Chicken Little's teacher was my kindy teacher, but I am not sure.  I will have to ask her tomorrow night at Open House.  (This assumption being based on the letter that she sent home yesterday saying what her name used to be and how long she has been teaching, rest assured I do not remember what my kindy teacher looks like~actually she looks to young to have taught me kindy, but what do I know?!!? But I will see)  They can't wait until we move into the house, I admit....me too! I am counting down the days.  I am trying not to pack too much as I know before I know it my house will be totally packed up!

Well I need to run, I will try to upload pics tonight of the house as my dh has the cd in his car of the house.  I accidentally left it in there over the weekend.  God Bless!
